Tool Manufacturing Services

In tool manufacturing, we utilise CAD/CAM-based technology, wire EDM and milling machines, as well as laser welding and sinker EDM equipment. We produce injection moulding, pressure die-casting, vacuum and thermoforming tools with reliable dimensional accuracy.

HSC milling operates as a result of our continuous developments enabling the cost-effective machining of hardened tool plates and inserts.

We successfully handle complex and challenging tasks: we are capable of designing and manufacturing tools with special water-cooling systems and inward-moving cores.

Our self-developed Maintenance Fast Track (MFT) system ensures that any failure of tools used in our plastics production facility can be resolved almost immediately – thereby guaranteeing on-time manufacturing and delivery.

Our Workflow

  • With our clients’ requirements in mind, we examine whether the given plastic product is manufacturable. If so, we also undertake tool design.
  • During the design phase, we maintain continuous communication with the client, taking into account not only the design specifications but also the expected cycle time and individual requirements.
  • After approving the design, we prepare the documentation and plan the complete sequence of operations. If the tool trial is successful, production may commence upon the client’s final approval.

Advantages of the MFT System

  • If a tool failure occurs during injection moulding, our planned and flexible capacity enables us to carry out repairs within just a few hours, thereby avoiding prolonged production downtime.
  • Our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system monitors cycle times and indicates when preventive maintenance of the tools is required, helping to minimise the number of failures.
